Submission Days

If you would prefer to bring us your items, so that we can photograph them and add them to the archive, you may do so by bringing them along to one of our local submission days. If your organisation is interested in hosting its own submission event in collaboration with the Great War Archive, please visit our downloads page for more information or contact us.

Contributors are asked to either bring material to deposit with Powys Archives (project staff will then scan a selection for The Great War Archive at the end of May) or come to the Archives, by appointment, to use the public access computer to upload stories and images. You may bring in on CD-ROM, floppy disc, or USB-memory stick, or to type in stories using The Great War Archive website. Appointments should be made before visiting by telephoning 01597 826086 or e-mailing archive@powys.gov.uk.
